BITE ME – Dating can really suck.  Sometimes, it even bites.

“A clever parallel between dating as an Asian American male and dating as a vampire…Bite Me is a good sport about ribbing the dating scene while also expressing hope that Asian Americans will find that man, woman, or vampire of their dreams.”
- Sylvie Kim, Hyphen Magazine

“The film tackles stereotypes in a unique way. Fong’s portrayal of Drake is likeable and convincing. The characters that Drake meets are larger than life but that’s what makes the film funny.”
- Nelson Wong, AArising

“It serves its viewers another fancy dish on minorities and love; an interesting take on the whole monkey business of being the “model minority” male.”
- Abel Lin, iistix

Synopsis

Drake (Jason Michael Fong), a lonely accountant/vampire who doesn’t seem to have much luck with the ladies, tries his hand at Last-Minute Mate Speed Dating.

Will he score any points with the sexy, outspoken Vanessa (Natalise) who has more in common with Drake than she cares to admit? How about the lusty Goth girl Sara (Katherine Fullenlove) who seems to like Drake for all the wrong reasons? Milla (Kimberly Chong) seems like the nice girl next door. But will she go for a dork like Drake?

As he wades through all the different personalities, deals with a flamboyant event crasher (Owen Thomas), and takes the brunt of a hostess’ (Brenda Cepeda) jokes, Drake realizes that dating doesn’t just suck, it bites.
