Resident Evil: Face of the Fan
Back in October I entered a contest to win a walk-on role in the upcoming Resident Evil sequel, Resident Evil: Retribution. The contest was put on by Face of the Fan and I heard about it on Facebook (of course). I had to send in a 1-minute or less video of me talking about being a fan, which movie I liked most, and I had to act out a line from my favorite film in the franchise. You gotta love WordPress. It’s so easy to grab a template and tweak it to fit your needs. I can’t believe I used to hardcode my website back in the day. And it didn’t have nearly all the cool functionality it has today. There’s still a fair amount of work that has to be done when using WordPress. The fact that it does have so much functionality almost creates too many choices. It practically requires you to do a lot of customization. But here it is. Here’s a short preview of one of my sketches for The Sketchbook Project 2011. My sketchbook theme is “The View from Up Here.” The title of this piece is “What Every Frog Aspires to Be.” I plan to create a video for each and every sketch to document my progress. This will probably be the only video for a while because I’m busy sketching and doing a bunch of other stuff, too. Not enough time in the day.
